Paper Planes is an exploration of non-figurative or representational image-making. Working towards abstraction, we manipulated flat sheets of paper on set and used mirrors to amplify and distort the picture plane. Through this series, our goal was to create compositions of pure form and color without using any recognizable or symbolic materials.
